Wayne State University students Maggie Smith, Monica Smith and Laura Holley were awarded the 2006 Mark Weiss Memorial Scholarships at the Wayne State Convocation Ceremony held Nov. 17. The Mark Weiss Scholarship was named for 1995-1996 Michigan Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) President Mark Weiss, a civil justice attorney who had dedicated his life to helping others through the law.
